It all started back when my mom would have my older sister and I in the kitchen making cookies on Christmas Eve as kids. Eventually, making cookies with family evolved into “Cookie Bakes” hosted by mom for my family and our close friends. Soon enough, I began to host “Cookie Bakes” for my friends. These were intended to “teach” my friends how to make homemade cookies, but in the end, I ended up baking all of the cookies anyway! (LOL!) This eventually turned from a hobby into a passion of mine. Being able to bring joy to others by producing such yummy, decadent treats makes my day! 

My current apron really helped Blank Canvas Cookies come to fruition. It was a $5 dollar apron I bought in NYC in 2018. I instantly gravitated to it because it reminded me so much of myself -- sassy, fun, and fashionable! So, if this apron can incorporate all of my characteristics while doing the thing that gives me the most joy, I had to buy it! Thanks to this apron, it finally gave me the boost to conquer my fears, get out of my comfort zone, and FINALLY start selling my cookies! Often we pretend we have made a decision when what we have really done is sign up to try until it gets too uncomfortable. Well, not me! Blank Canvas Cookies is my baby and we are here to stay!
